When the family came to know about it, the ground slipped under their feet. On the complaint of the father, the police have registered a case against the accused and the woman and started the search.
A man living in a village in Karhal police station area works as a labourer outside. His wife and minor daughter live at home. About eight months ago, his minor daughter had gone to a neighbour’s house to fetch water. The accused present there started doing obscene acts with the teenager.
A neighbour woman made a video of this. After making the video, with the help of the woman, the accused blackmailed the teenager and raped her. After this, he blackmailed her through the video and raped her several times. He threatened the daughter that if she told anyone at home or took any legal action, he would kill her.
The rape victim daughter became seven months pregnant. When she came to know about this after coming home, she came to the police station with a complaint. On the complaint of the victim’s father, the police have registered a case against the accused Ramsharan and the accomplice woman under sections of rape, intimidation etc. under the POCSO Act and have started searching for them.
